Judy BrewerMs. Judith Brewer

Judy Brewer is a retired (and rehired and rehired) educator. She was a classroom teacher for many years; was the K-12 Curriculum Director (all subjects and grades) for Auglaize County Schools for many years; was an award-winning Lecturer in Teacher Education for Wright State University for ten years; and was a Special Projects Coordinator for Mercer County Schools for several years. During her tenure at WSU, she co-founded and co-directed the WSU Lake Campus Reading Center…a program that served the needs of many schools and hundreds of children in Ohio and Indiana.  In addition, she has done extensive work for the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Board of Regents, as well as serving as an adjunct professor for several universities. She is a Fellow of the Ohio Writing Project and a Jennings Scholar. She has served as a consultant for many schools, and has been a workshop presenter across the Midwest.

Judy has enjoyed great success in Curriculum Development, Teacher Preparation, Grant Writing, Student Learning Objectives, Entry Year Program development (including the Ohio Resident Educator Program…RESA), and several other areas. A particular career-long expertise is in all areas of preK- 12 Literacy. Judy is a published author in both academic and other areas, and is also a professional artist.


Judy has three children and five grandchildren, and she lives in St. Mary’s, Ohio.
