Dr. Tracey Caddell- Retired Superintendent-Eastern Howard

Dr. Tracy Caddell is a retired superintendent from the Eastern Howard School Corporation after having served at Eastern for 9.5 years.  Eastern was recognized as an Apple Distinguished School Corporation during his tenure, and his district was one of the first districts in Indiana to use marketing and branding to attract students during a school choice environment. Over 30 percent of Eastern students are out-of-district students from 19 different schools or corporations. He was also superintendent of the Switzerland County School Corporation for 6.5 years.  Both of his elementary schools were honored as National Blue Ribbon Schools during his tenure in Switzerland County.  He was recognized by his peers in 2017 as the District III Superintendent of the Year, and has served as Vice President and President of the Indiana Small and Rural Schools Association.  Tracy currently is serving as an adjunct assistant professor at Ball State University and has taught courses in school law, public relations, school finance, and educational leadership, as well as principal and central office internships.  Tracy earned a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from Indiana University, and two Master's Degrees, a Specialist Degree, and a Doctorate from Ball State University.  Tracy lives in Fishers, Indiana with his wife Teresa, and is blessed with seven children and thirteen grandchildren
