With a Doctorate in Adult, Higher, and Community Education from Ball State University, she has held pivotal roles, such as Founding Dean of the Indiana campus for the Relay Graduate School of Education, where she successfully designed and launched a teacher residency program. Dr. Cooprider’s expertise includes leading impactful initiatives at both the state and institutional levels. At Teach Plus, as the Indiana Region Executive Director, she mobilized teacher leadership programs, leading to educational advocacy that engaged policymakers through testimonials, Op-Eds, and research briefs. Her operational acumen was further demonstrated as Principal of Indianapolis Metropolitan High School, where she increased the graduation rate for at-risk students through an innovative career-pathways curriculum.
